2009 Hunter Valley
Marathon. A group of BRC members ventured across to
the Hunter Valley Marathon. Click here for

the Mountain - 28 September 2008 - A great day out with
some fantastic results. Thanks to Bradley Brand and his team
of helpers for organising this long standing event on our club

FREMANTLE HALF MARATHON A
handful of BRC members ran the Fremantle Half Marathon Sunday 20th
September. A strong westerly wind made conditions difficult,
but must runners were able to finish the course before the rain set
it. The new course requiried two laps of a loop from Poert
Beach to Cottesloe. Paul Falloon ran strongly for 1.33.33
putting him 4th in his age category. Dan Parnell rang
1.43.26. The Ellis family had a big day out with Paul running
a PB 1.58.49 with Fiona running 2nd in her category & 27th
overall in the 5km. Not to be outdone Daniel Ellis ran 4th in
the U12 boys, Kristi Ellis 2nd in the U12 girls and Cara Ellis 7th
in the U16 event
